Analysis for Shift 1: August 27, Day 2 of Session 4

The paper was balanced covering all the major topics from each subject. Some memory-based questions were also there in the exam. The section wise comparison of difficulty level ranking would be Mathematics being most difficult to physics being the least, whereas chemistry was moderate. Subject wise analysis for the exam is given below.

Mathematics: The difficulty level of Mathematics particularly was moderate to difficult with higher weightage given to topics like Calculus and Algebra. There were some interesting questions from Differential equations, Definite Integral, Binomial Theorem, Complex Numbers, Area under curve etc. Which might have confused students. The questions were lengthy as some of the calculations were perplexing.

Physics: Physics questions asked were easy and had equal weightage covering questions from most of the topics. The numerical based questions asked were mostly formula based and direct. Some of the numerical were lengthy but were easy. The chapters carrying most of the questions were Electromagnetic Induction, Kinematics, Optics etc.

Chemistry: Questions from chemistry were in the range of moderate to difficult. Questions from Inorganic and Organic Chemistry were more as compared to Physical Chemistry unlike the previous day. Numerical based questions were lengthy and tricky.

Some students have also reported technical problems which let to delay in starting the exam.

Analysis for Shift 2: August 27, Day 2 of Session 4

The shift 2 of Day 3 was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. Similar to the previous shifts, if we compare the difficulty level subject wise, it would be Mathematic at first followed by Physics which is followed by Chemistry. The overall exam can be considered as moderate in difficulty level.

Mathematics: It was a difficult section and the solutions were lengthy. Higher weightage was given to Algebra. Questions were also asked from chapters like Statistics, 3D- Geometry, parabola, hyperbola etc.

Physics: The questions in this session were moderate. Students found the questions to be quiet confusing. Weightage of class 12th questions was more than that of class 11th. The chapters asked were modern physics, electrostatics, wavelength, energy etc.

Chemistry: It was an easy and doable section. The questions were majorly based on the NCERT textbook. Questions from organic chemistry had higher weightage in this section.
