Uttar Pradesh New Education Policy

The Uttar Pradesh state government is all set to implement changes in school schedules as per the new education policy. Under this policy, the study hours in schools will be reduced, bringing relief to students from their hectic study schedules.

Changes in Study Hours

As per reports, schools will now have a total of 29 hours of teaching in a week. Classes will be conducted from Monday to Friday for 5 to 5.5 hours, and every second Saturday of the month for 2 to 2.5 hours. Two Saturdays in a month will be declared a holiday for students.

Maximum Time Limit for Classes

In addition to reducing the study hours, the new policy also mandates a maximum time limit for classes. According to the policy, general subject classes must be conducted for a maximum of 35 to 45 minutes, while major subjects including Math, Hindi, English, Science and others will have classes lasting 40 to 50 minutes.

New Teaching Methodologies

The Education Department has been directed to prepare new rules for studies in schools under the National Curriculum Framework of the New Education Policy. This will ensure that classes are conducted in an efficient and structured manner, with the focus on learning outcomes and the holistic development of students.

To reduce the burden of studies, the new education policy has introduced a new way of teaching. Under this method, students will be allowed to attend school for at least 10 days a year without carrying their bags. These classes will be taught through an oral and experimental method, providing students a much-needed break from their rigorous academic schedules.

Focus on Holistic Development

This new education policy is a step towards providing quality education to students in Uttar Pradesh. The reduction in study hours and the introduction of new teaching methodologies are expected to create a positive impact on students’ lives, reducing stress and promoting a healthy learning environment.

Creating a Positive Impact

In conclusion, the new education policy in Uttar Pradesh is the need of the hour to bring a positive change in the education system. The changes in study hours and teaching methodologies will play a crucial role in shaping the future of students and will lead to a brighter and more promising tomorrow.
