NEET UG 2021 notification has been announced on Monday, 12 July 2021. Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister, announced that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG, for entrance to various medical colleges, will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following Covid-19 protocols. The application forms or registrations for the NEET exam will be opened tomorrow, 13 July 2021. Students aspiring for a seat in the best medical colleges of the country can fill their application form from today, i.e. 13 July, 2021 onwards.

As per the tweet by Union Education Minister, “The NEET (UG) 2021 will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following COVID-19 protocols. The application process will begin from 5 pm tomorrow through the NTA website(s).”

As mentioned in the tweet by Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister, the national level entrance examination for admission to medical colleges will be conducted in 198 cities across the country. “In order to ensure social distancing norms, number of cities where examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. The number of examination centres will also be increased from the 3862 centres used in 2020,” he tweeted.

In order to follow the covid-19 protocols and ensuring the safety of candidates, various measures will be taken. “To ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols, face mask will be provided to all NEET candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured,” he added further in his series of tweets.
