Elegant New Website with an Easy-to-Use Interface

The digital version of JEE Mains is now available! With its slick and intuitive appearance, the new website promises to make the application process easier than before. It’s easy to navigate, and crucial information is only a click away. The new address for the official website is jeemain.nta.ac.in. The website used to be jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Updated Charge Schedule

JEE Mains is aware that money is important. A more inclusive approach has been accommodated by revisions to the pricing structure. An application fee of Rs 1,000 was required of male candidates in the General, General-EWS, and OBC (NCL) categories, and Rs 800 was required of female candidates in the same categories. The application cost for JEE Mains 2024 is now Rs 900 for male applicants belonging to the OBC NCL and General-EWS categories.

Exam cities

For JEE Main 2024, NTA has reduced the number of exam cities to 300. There were 304 exam cities in the previous year.

The JEE Main syllabus for 2024

The JEE main 2024 syllabus has been updated by NTA. A small number of chapters and subtopics have been entirely removed from the syllabus in order to bring it into compliance with the NCERT curriculum for students in classes 11 and 12.

Additionally, aspirants applying for JEE Mains 2024 will benefit from the automated chatbox available on the new JEE Main website. It will function as an online assistant. This new feature may be found on the jeemain.nta.ac.in homepage in the bottom right corner.

Signing up with DigiLocker & ABC

Candidates would need to create a DigiLocker account using an Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID) or a National Academic Depository (NAD) site in order to register online for the JEE Mains 2024. On the day of the exam, candidates who choose not to register using DigiLocker or ABC ID must show up at the designated exam centre one hour ahead of time.

The first session of JEE Main 2024 is scheduled to take place between January 24 and February 1, 2024, and the second session will take place between April 1 and April 15, 2024.
