You must be aware that there is not just one shift for the JEE main exam as it used to be before 2019, so for each shift the question paper will be different and if the question paper is different then its difficulty level will also vary. Here we will be discussing the difficulty level of JEE main exam 2022 for the shifts on different days. As there were two attempts for the JEE main 2022, the first attempt was held in June and the second in July. So, let’s start with the first attempt. For the June shift,  the dates were 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th. For July attempts were on the dates 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th.

For 23 June’s first attempt analysis, we can say that the difficulty level of the question paper was medium. Most of the students who appeared in the exam said that the question paper’s difficulty level was easy to medium. Many questions were of the same pattern as in the NCERT textbook. For the 2nd shift paper, aspirants said that the maths section was very difficult due to lengthy calculations.

For the 24th June 1st shift, the paper’s difficulty level ranged from easy to medium. In the math section, a few questions needed lengthy calculations. For the 25 June 1st shift, the paper was of medium difficulty level in which chemistry was the easiest, math was the toughest and the lengthiest while physics was of medium level. For the 26 June 1st shift, the difficulty level of maths was medium to hard and as always, it was lengthy too. Physics was of medium level and chemistry was easy. For June 27 1st shift, the overall difficulty level of the exam was medium. Math was medium to difficult while physics was easy to medium. Chemistry questions were mostly from NCERT. For the 2nd shift, the question paper was medium in terms of difficulty level but the maths part was hard. Whereas on 28 June 2nd shift, the paper’s difficulty level was medium.

For the 26th July’s 1st shift, the difficulty level of the paper was easy to medium. In maths, a few questions required more time due to lengthy calculations. For the 27 July 1st shift, the paper was of moderate difficulty level. For 28 July 1st shift paper was easy to medium in difficulty. Chemistry was easy whereas math was difficult because of some lengthy calculations.
