The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a single entrance examination for admission to medical and dental courses in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Dental Council of India (DCI).

There is no second NEET exam.

NEET is a single-window examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other medical courses. Candidates who qualify in NEET are eligible to participate in the counseling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to medical and dental colleges across India.

The exam consists of three sections:

1. Physics (45 questions)
2. Chemistry (45 questions)
3. Biology (90 questions)

Each section is of 180 minutes duration. The candidates are required to answer a total of 180 questions out of 200 questions.

The exam is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based). The candidates are required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet.

The results of the exam are usually declared within a month after the exam is conducted.

Candidates who qualify are eligible to participate in the counseling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to medical and dental colleges across India.

There is no second exam. If a candidate is not satisfied with their NEET score, they can reappear for the exam in the next year.
