NEET 2022: Fake news has been circulating on social media. The fake notice has been exposed. The fake notice also claimed that the registration process will begin on April 4, 2022. Candidates must beware of such notices. Official confirmation for NEET 2022 Exam date has been notified to the students from NTA that the registration starts from 6th April.

With the official notification of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022 released, the anxiety among the interested candidates has been at a peak due to the pressure of the examination. According to various reports, it was being said that the notification was expected to be released on April 4, 2022, a fake exam schedule has also been circulating online and on various social media handles. But the NTA has released a notification stating that the registration process starts from 6th April 2022 to 6th May 2022 and the exam is to be held on 17th July 2022. 

The fake notice claims that the application process for NEET UG 2022 will run from April 4, 2022, and close by April 15, 2022. This circular is fake as no such official notification has been released on the official NTA website. Candidates must be aware of it and should not fall into the trap.

NTA has declared the official dates for NEET-UG 2022 exam which is on July 17, 2022, and the registration process has commenced on 6th April 2022.

The NEET-UG 2022 exam will be conducted in pen-paper centre-based mode. It will be conducted in the following 13 languages similar to the pattern in which NEET (UG) 2021 was organised: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The exam pattern of the NEET (UG) 2022 entrance exam consists of 2 sections for each subject. Section A will be of 35 questions while Section B will be of 15 questions, out of these 15 questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions out of the 15 questions available.

The NTA and the National Medical Commission (NMC) have removed the upper-age limit eligibility criteria for the NEET UG 2022. With the relaxation of the age limit, many more are expected to appear for the prestigious entrance exam to secure a seat in some prestigious medical colleges.

The registration process has started and is available for candidates on the official websites –nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in.
