On the basis of several deciding variables for NEET cutoff 2021 Jharkhand, the authorities make their decision and students will be ranked according to their marks. 

The number of seats available at the state’s medical colleges are approximately 750. The number of medical school applicants who took the admission exam, only those who will score more than the cutoff will be preceded to the counselling. NEET cut off in Jharkhand is 15% seats from the All-India Quota and 85% by state quota. The Jharkhand MBBS NEET cutoff is published by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Most of the students in states get their admission via state quota. Every year the ranks and cut off differs as it solely depends on the percentile and the toughness of the exam. 

Here are the top medical colleges of Jharkhand ranked according to their state ranks and also the preferences of the top students for MBBS admission. 

  1. Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences: 

Rajendra Institute of medical science is ranked one in the state. Students can enroll in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Ranchi’s Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences. Admission to the MBBS programme is based on the NEET UG exam, which is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and aspirants must also engage in the counselling procedure. Candidates must pass the NEET PG exam, which is administered by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), and then participate in the medical counselling process, which is administered by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates interested in Super Speciality Courses must take the (NEET SS) exam, which is administered by NTA. 

  1. MGM Medical College, also known as Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College:

It is an Indian medical school founded in 1961 in Jamshedpur. It is the second flagship college among the six colleges in Jharkhand. It is one of three medical colleges in the state that are entirely government-run.

The courses it offers are:

  1. DCH (diploma in Child Health)
  2. DGO (diploma in Obst-Gynae)
  3. DMRD
  • Post graduate
  1. MD in Pharmacology
  2. MD in Physiology
  3. MS in Anatomy 

3. Patliputra Medical College:

It was founded in 1971 as Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College at Ashok Raj Path, Patna, under private management. All clinical departments are located on the Saraidhela campus, with the exception of surgery and orthopaedics, which are still located on the Sadar hospital campus. 

Since 1977, 50 people have been admitted to M.B.B.S. courses each year; however, with the introduction of postgraduate courses in many fields, this number is expected to rise to 100.
