In a recent update, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has addressed frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to the JEE Main 2024 examination on its official website. Here are some key points covered in the FAQs:

1. Application Deadline Extended For JEE Main 2024:

The deadline for submitting the online Application Form for JEE Main 2024 has been extended to December 4, 2023.

2. Correction Window Details:

Correction Opportunity: Candidates will have the chance to make corrections to their application forms after the closure of the online submission.

Adding Sessions: During the correction window, candidates can add Session 2 along with the session they initially selected. The applicable fee for the added session is to be paid by the candidate.

Removing Sessions: Candidates can remove Session 2 during the correction window, but the fee for the removed session will not be refunded.

Session Interchange: Interchanging sessions from Session 1 to Session 2 or vice versa is not allowed during the correction window.

3. Paper Selection Changes:

Adding Papers: Candidates can add more papers (Paper 1, Paper 2A, or Paper 2B) during the correction window, with the applicable fee to be paid.

Removing Papers: Candidates have the flexibility to remove or add selected papers during the correction window. Any extra fees incurred will be the responsibility of the candidate, but fees for removed papers will not be refunded.

4. Fee Payment Issues:

Multiple Payments: If a candidate has made multiple payments but is unable to download the confirmation page, they are advised to wait for 24 hours for the payment status to update. If issues persist, candidates can contact the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway for resolution.

5. Correction Window Dates:

The correction window will be open from December 6 to December 8, 2023.
