NEET 2022 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency is expected to soon issue a notification for NEET 2022 exam. The exam is likely to be postponed.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), the Government body in charge of conducting the entrance examinations for higher educational institutions, is likely to announce the official exam notification for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate (NEET-UG) 2022 soon. Candidates curious about appearing for the medical entrance test would wish to register online on the official website of NEET (neet.nta.nic.in). As per reports, NTA is probably going to start the registration for NEET 2022 examination on April 1, 2022.

The NEET-MDS 2022 may be postponed by four to six weeks and the date of completion of a compulsory rotating internship for eligibility for admission to MDS courses may be fixed at July 31, 2022, instead of March 31, 2022, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday 24 March 2022.

“It has been decided by the Competent Authority that the date for the conduct of NEET-MDS examination, 2022 may be postponed by 4-6 weeks and preferably around the same date as that for NEET-PG 2022: Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,” the health ministry said.

The Ministry had earlier received a plea from the United Doctors Front Association for the extension of the exam NEET-MDS 2022 date by 4-6 weeks and to increase the date of completion of a compulsory rotating internship for eligibility for admission to MDS courses beyond March 31, 2022.

Furthermore, a couple of experts have also acknowledged that NTA would even be busy with the declaration of JEE Main 2022 end in June, as per a report by Times Now. In this case, it’d not be possible for NTA to conduct NEET also. Some of the expert’s opinions also suggest that NEET 2022 might be conducted by mid-July with a result declaration expected by or before August 31, 2022.

Many sources have suggested that the officials are still considering the exam date of NEET-2022. This year the number of students appearing might increase due to the recent notification of the removal of the upper age limit.

With this news, students will get more time for their preparation and be able to score high scores and ranks in their upcoming exams. Time is plenty for the students. Hopefully they use it wisely and do not get complacent.
