IIT Kharagpur has released the provisional answer key for JEE Advanced 2021 examination. It was earlier conducted on October 3rd of this year by IIT KGP at 630 centres across the country. A total of 2.5 Lakhs students were shortlisted across various categories to appear for JEE Advanced 2021 exam. The exam is conducted in two shifts i.e. morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Appearing in both the shifts is compulsory without which the student is considered absent from the exam.

Candidates can download the answer key and use it along with their response sheets (released earlier) to determine their probable scores. However, this is not the final answer key which will be released once all the objections against discrepancies (if any) are cleared. Those students who have not downloaded their response sheet can download it by login using their JEE Advanced registration number, date of birth and mobile number. 

On the other hand the provisional answer key can be downloaded without login in. The steps to download the provisional answer keys for JEE Advanced are: 

  1. Visit the official website of JEE Advanced:  jeeadv.ac.in
  2. Click on “Click Here” button ahead of “For tentative Answer Keys” 
  3. Links for both papers would be displayed on the screen along with the question papers.

The final answer keys along with the result would be declared on October 15 (i.e. Friday) and seat allocation process may begin tentatively from 16th October.

Also, registration for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) would begin from 10 AM on October 15 and the last date to apply for AAT is 16th October (up to 5 PM).  The exam will be conducted on October 18 which will provide admission to the B. Arch programme offered by various IITs. It will be conducted in offline mode. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and results of it will be published on October 22. It is to be noted that only those students who have not qualified JEE Advanced exam are not eligible for appearing in AAT.
