A conceptual undergraduate programme in Chemical Engineering has been launched at the renowned engineering institution IIT Indore in India. This four-year BTech programme, which will start in the academic year 2023–2024, responds to the growing demand for chemical engineers across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, oil & gas, and pharmaceuticals. This is a full-time, four-year college degree program that is divided into eight semesters. Each semester, students take around 6 to 7 subjects, which includes elective courses.
To get admission into the BTech program at IIT Indore, students need to appear for the JEE Advanced 2023 exam, and their results will determine if they are eligible for the Chemical Engineering program.
