The wait is finally over for CISCE students! The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the much-anticipated ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results today, on May 6, 2024.
Key Highlights
- Excellent Pass Percentage: This year saw a significant increase in pass percentages for both classes. ICSE recorded a remarkable 99.47% pass rate, while ISC achieved an impressive 98.19%.
- Girls Outshine Boys: Continuing the trend from previous years, girls excelled in both classes. In ICSE, girls secured a pass percentage of 99.65%, surpassing boys (99.31%). Similarly, girls triumphed in ISC with 98.01% compared to boys (95.96%).
- No Toppers Announced: In a notable change, CISCE has decided to discontinue announcing toppers for both ICSE and ISC exams from 2024 onwards. This move aims to reduce unhealthy competition among students.
- Compartment Exams Discontinued: CISCE has made another significant announcement – the discontinuation of compartment examinations for ICSE and ISC from 2024 onwards. Improvement exams will still be offered.
