More often than not, the writers at PracBee are at the receiving end of questions from students enquiring about the role that CUET Exam can play in their career and how it may or may not be a viable alternative to their NEET dream.
So in this blog post we’ll try to clear out a few basics about the CUET and how PracBee might actually be able to help you out.
I’d like to keep this article divided into sections and sub-sections to make it more legible.

For BTech programmes, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45 per cent and that of the reserved category candidates is 40 per cent.
• CUET Exam Pattern :
Since CUET is conducted in a computer-based mode, candidates will not get hold of the CUET question papers on the day of the exam. However, NTA will release the question papers online on its official website along with the answer keys. Candidates will also be able to download their response sheets. The CUET question papers will carry 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

• Conclusion :
As evident from the information above appearing for the CUET can be a decent alternative or a plan B for most NEET aspirants because of the similarity in the paper and syllabus. It gives the NEET aspirants a much needed cushion and a one stop Alternate exam on the basis of results of which the candidate can opt for admission into a plethora of prestigious institutions across India.
However, as time and again we’ve been asked, CUET is not another route to get into a medical school in India.
The cources offered are exclusive of MBBS or para-medical professions.
