Must have passed / emerged with 10th and 12th required subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology, and English as a core subject. 

Certified Class 12 or equivalent exam with 50% general category, 40% SC / ST / OBC and 45% general PH. For state quota sheets, students must meet the Maharashtra NEET residence standards.

  1. AFMC Pune 

 AFMC stands for Armed Force Medical College. The AFMC is controlled by the Indian Army. The total number of bachelor MBBS courses is 150, of which 115 are boys, 30 are girls and 5 are foreigners. The admission fee is based on national qualifications and admission exams, also known as NEET.  After the NEET exam the eligible candidates go through an interview. Students are not allowed to be married or to marry during the course. The students who are selected are liable to serve in the medical services of the Armed Forces, on successful completion of MBBS, for seven years.

  1. Grant Government Medical College, Mumbai: It was established in the year 1845. The institute is also known as Grant Medical College, Mumbai. Grant Medical College in Mumbai offers undergraduate and graduate courses for medical students. Grant Medical College in Mumbai offers undergraduate admission under NEET UG conducted by the National Examining Institute and then participates in Maharashtra MBBS Counselling. To enroll in the graduate program at Grant Medical College in Mumbai, candidates must appear on the NEET PG exam and receive Maharashtra MBBS counselling conducted by the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER) in Mumbai.
  1. Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre (DYPMC), Pune: It was founded in 1996. The university offers undergraduate (MBBS), graduate (MD, MS, M.Ch, DM), Ph.D., and scholarship courses in a variety of disciplines. DYPMC is an autonomous university of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is approved by the MCI.
  1. Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai: It was founded in 1926. The university is accredited by the MCI and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India. Seth GS Medical College in Mumbai offers admission to MBBS / BOTH / BPTH / BPMT programs based on NEET UG scores, DM and M.Ch programs based on NEET SS scores, and MD and MS programs based on NEET PG results. Students are also required to enroll and qualify for all-Indian level counselling conducted to provide admission to various Indian medical schools based on NEET results. The university also offers PhD admissions based on the performance of interviews conducted by the Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College.

  1. The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences of the Kasturba Health Association, Sevagram: It was founded in 1969 by a doctor. MGIMS Sevagram offers undergraduate and graduate courses for medical students. MGIMS Sevagram offers admission to undergraduate courses under the  NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Institute and then participates in Maharashtra MBBS Counselling. To enroll in the graduate program offered by MGIMS Sevagram, candidates must appear on the NEET PG exam before undergoing Mahatma Gandhi MBBS counselling by the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER) in Mumbai.
  1. The MGM Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS): This college offers admission to a variety of medical courses. Candidates for the MBBS must apply for the NEET UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).  Candidates with the required NEET percentile must enroll in AIQ NEET counselling.  Further candidates should participate in the advisory process of the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Commission (MCC).  Final admission is based on achievements, participation in the advisory process, seat allocation, document reviews, and payment of fees.
  1. Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMC): This college offers undergraduate and graduate courses in medicine. Also, you can also get a super-specialized bachelor’s degree. To enroll in M.Ch. MBBS, candidates must appear and achieve a valid score for the NEET UG admissions conducted by the National Examination Academy (NTA). To enroll in MD / MS candidates must appear and achieve a valid score for the NEET PG admissions conducted by the National Examination Academy (NTA). Candidates must also register for NEET counselling at the state level.
