JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is considered to be the toughest engineering entrance examination of the country. It is a gateway to the prestigious IITs, NITs and other top engineering colleges and students aspiring to get admission to these colleges are expected to work extremely hard to keep them up in the intense competition. There were some changes recently in the JEE Main which has now allowed the students to appear up to four times in JEE Main in 2021, This decision has acted as a boon in the times of crisis caused by the pandemic. However, students are advised to neither be too relaxed seeing the increased number of chances nor build any pressure of loss of studies due to pandemic. In this article we have discussed some of the tips to remain focused and make the best use of time before the JEE Main examination.

Study smart rather than going for detailed revision of all the topics. Make the best use of short notes prepared by you for the last minute revision. Prioritize the important topics which are seen regularly in the examination every year. Such topics should be covered first, however this has to be complimented with the strengths and weaknesses of the student. Go through the important formulas, and various theorems which have frequently occurred in the past exams.

For expert guidance around each subject of study like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics you can take mentorship guidance and get taught by any of the experienced IITian teachers at Pracbee.

Now is not the time to begin with new topics or new sources of study. Students are advised to focus more on revision rather than trying to touch upon so many new things. So, best is to be part of the HACK-IIT program run by Pracbee which focuses on each student and customizes the sprint preparation as per the student’s needs. One should be well aware of his strengths and all the doubts should be cleared to boost the confidence in order to attempt the questions in the actual exam. Practising mock test papers is advised to students but the result of these mock tests should be handled with maturity. Students should neither panic if they score low marks nor become over confident on scoring above expectations. One should make a proper analysis of the mock after attempting and check the mistakes done by him or her. Most of the time, students find that a lot of marks are lost due to silly mistakes committed due to unnecessary pressure which can be avoided by learning from the mock tests.

Apart from all of this, students should take good care of themselves. A proper routine should be followed way before the exam day. Having proper food, sufficient sleep hours, and a fresh mental health are some of the necessities which students generally ignore due to the study pressure. These things should not be taken lightly as they do impact your effectiveness and efficiency during the exam. No new habits should be developed, and regular breaks should be taken to increase the efficiency of learning.

Meditation or walking in greenery can be practiced to relax the mind and concentrate more on your goals
