NEET exam is considered as one of the toughest exams in India. Every year 15-16  lakh students appear for NEET but only 60k- 70k students clear this exam. To score decent marks in the NEET exam or any competitive exam, one should have a realistic timetable. Develop the habit of reading at least 6- 7 hours a day. To score good marks in exam, one of the most important things is to memorize the syllabus. It should be on your tips! If you don’t know about the syllabus then you will not be able to determine which topic is more important and which topic should be given less importance. Prioritizing things is a must when you prepare for any competitive exam. Get yourself involved in skimming through NCERT textbooks to build your foundation. In biology, read your NCERT first, read it line by line and highlight all the important points in the book. While studying, more emphasis should be given to examples that are generally asked in the NEET exam.

You should know each line of NCERT. You can refer to NCERT FINGERTIPS books, this book is based on NCERT, and it will help you to memorize each line of NCERT

You can refer to Truman for the principle gene of inheritance and molecular basis of inheritance, evolution.

As far as chemistry is considered, read chemistry for at least 1 hour a day and allow additional 1 hour for solving practical chemistry questions. This time can vary from person to person based on their ability. Chemistry is further divided into 3 types: Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry. A very important element required for physical chemistry is that one should have strong calculations. In physical, the majority of questions are numerical. You should not only remember the formula but you should be aware of its application as well and why it is used. In inorganic chemistry, NCERT is sufficient to score good marks in this section. Read it carefully and highlight all the notable key points, diagrams, and flowcharts in the book. Solve previous year’s questions, they’ll give you a gist about the exam pattern and the type of questions asked. You can refer to Arihant’s question bank to experience a good level of problems. Coming to organic chemistry, you should be aware of the strength of carbonation, electrophile, nucleophile, and free radical. You can refer to OP TANDON for organic chemistry. It will make your concepts stronger.

Then comes the last section, Physics. It is considered as the toughest subject for NEET aspirants. To overcome this myth, Make it a habit to read physics for 2 hrs a day. First, try to understand the concept and then read your class notes multiple times. Again you should understand and remember the formulas as around 20-22 questions are based on formulas. Try to solve a maximum no. of questions daily and mark those questions which you couldn’t solve in your first attempt. Always sit with the formula book while practicing. It will help you to memorize the formulas. You can refer to HC VERMA and DC PANDEY for physics.
