The NEET 2022 exam is expected to be held in the first week of May this year. The date for the exam has not been finalised yet due to pandemic. The exam will be conducted by NTA for admissions into MBBS and BDS programs offered by various medical colleges of the country. Usually, students take around two years to prepare for the entrance exam. With about three months left for the exam, it is advised to start revising your syllabus along with completion of syllabus and also attempt & analyse mock tests. This has become more important in current times as nothing can be predicted about the exam date and regular revision will help you by increasing your confidence level.
In this article we will be suggesting some effective tips and preparation strategies to prioritise things three months before the exam. This will help you planning your last months before the exam and increase your productivity during last few days of NEET preparation.
Do a SWOT Analysis:
At this stage of preparation, students are expected to be aware of their strengths and weaknesses in terms of topics and subject. If not, students are advised to do a Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat analysis of their understanding of various topics. Students should be aware of the topics that they find relatively easy and which questions or topic falls under the opportunity category. The topics which students find easy and if it’s questions can be solved in a short time, it can be said to fall under opportunity category. Along with knowing your strengths you must also know your weak points. Students should focus on reducing the list of topics in weakness category. This analysis will give you a clearer picture during the exam about the questions that should be attempted first and which question to be solved later.
Stay Organised and Planned: Students are advised to keep themselves organised and write their notes and solve problems in a proper manner. At this stage of preparation, students cannot afford to lose time in looking for books or searching for a particular topic. A well organised notes and study table saves a lot of time at this stage and helps in increasing productivity. Also, studying without a proper study plan will also harm the productivity. Students are advised to have a daily study plan a day prior and follow it. You should divide your time effectively between revision and studying new topics. Also, some time has to be carved out for attempting mock tests bi-weekly.
Don’t keep doubts: This is something that most of the students don’t follow due to various reasons. While solving problems, if you are not able to solve any question, get your doubts cleared as soon as possible otherwise these doubts will keep piling up and these topics will become a hurdle in your success. This will also degrade your confidence and affect your efficiency so try your best to not let such situation arise.
