The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced revisions to the datesheet for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations in 2024. The revised schedule, released on January 4, 2024, brings alterations to the initial date sheet published on December 12, 2023. This adjustment is in response to the scheduling conflicts with competitive exams such as JEE Main and other considerations.

Changes in Class 10 Examination Dates

Several modifications have been made to the exam dates for Class 10 subjects. Notably, the Class 10 Tibetan exam, initially scheduled for March 4, has been rescheduled to February 23. Additionally, the Class 10 Retail exam, initially set for February 16, has been postponed to February 28.

Changes in Class 12 Examination Dates

Similarly, changes have been implemented in the Class 12 examination schedule. The CBSE has rescheduled the Class 12 Fashion Studies exam, moving it from its initial date of March 11 to the revised date of March 21.

Revised Exam Timetable

The Class 10 board examinations are slated to commence on February 15 and conclude on March 13. Simultaneously, the Class 12 board examinations will commence on February 15 and conclude on April 2. Noteworthy is the decision to conduct both Class 10 and 12 board examinations in single shifts, starting at 10:30 am and concluding at 1:30 pm on all days.
