NTA restores 75% criteria for admission

JEE Main 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has stated that the students need to meet at least 75% in class 12th board or the top 20 percentile in the equivalent exam, then only aspirants will be eligible to sit for JEE exam 2023. There is relaxation given in 75% criteria to SC and ST category candidates, they need to score 65% in the 12th board exam to be eligible for the Exam.

In 2021 & 2022 the 75% eligibility criteria was revoked by the Education Minister due to lockdown and covid-19 but this time doesn’t remain the same for B.Tech/B.Arch/B. Plan courses in admission for Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National institutes of Technology(NITs), and other Centrally Funded Technological Institutes (CFTIs ) participating through Central Seat Allocation Board then students should have secured at least 75% marks. For B.Arch admission other than IIITs, NITs and CFTIs students should have scored 50% total marks in Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics. Earlier, Candidates had to be less than 24 years but now NTA has abolished the age limit. You can also visit to their JEE official website for more eligible criteria.

Candidates should accomplished all the eligible criteria before sitting in JEE advanced, The rule stands applicable even for the dropper as well, the thing is that for JEE dropper in 2023, 75% criteria is apply.
