It’s no surprise that every year approximately 15-20 Lakh students appear for the NEET exam in hope of landing in top Medical Colleges! Students take up courses like MBBS, BDS, and other allied programs. But would you believe us if we tell you that you can do Medical courses without giving the NEET Examination? Sounds unbelievable right? It’s unbelievable but it’s the reality check. In this blog, we will discuss some options that you can take up in the medical field and make a good living out of it. 

Here’s a little mandatory thing, you need to have passed your 12th standard with Physics, chemistry, and biology or mathematics as your subjects. With this, let’s get started with our blog.

BSc Nursing is a four-year undergraduate course that gives students a chance to work as staff nurses, Nurse Teachers, medical coders, registered nurses, etc. NEET exam is not mandatory for nursing but some states have started taking admissions in BSc Nursing on the basis of NEET Score. After this course, an individual can earn between 3-4 Lakhs per annum. 

  1. BSc Nutrition or Dietician/Human Nutrition/ Food technology

This course can be done in 3-4 years that can offer you jobs like nutritionist, food technologist, various research positions, etc. Yearly income can vary from 5-6 Lakhs per annum. 

  1. BSc biotechnology

BSc Biotechnology is a good option for those who want to get into the Medical field after their 12th without appearing for the NEET Exam. The fee for this course can vary from 35,000 to 1,00,000 on a yearly basis. A full course can be completed in 3-4 years that offer jobs like that of a biotechnologist. The salary pay is also handsome! Offering between 3 LPA to 20 LPA. 

  1. BSc agriculture science

BSc agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate program. Many colleges have even conducted exams for students who want to get into this course. The fee for this course is very affordable and ranges between 7-15k if done from a public institution. Meanwhile, a private Institution charges 20,000-80,000 as a yearly fee. You can take the job of an agriculturist, agriculture scientist, and agribusiness.
