JEE Main Session 4 result out; Registrations for JEE Advanced starts

The result for fourth and final session of JEE Main BTech has been announced by National Testing Agency. A link to check the individual score is available on the official website of NTA JEE Main 2021. Category wise qualifying cut-off list has also been announced by NTA. This year’s JEE Main qualifying cut off for registration to JEE Advance is 87.899 which is approximately 2 marks less than the previous years cut-off.

Candidates who have scored marks more than the above mentioned cut-off marks are eligible to apply for JoSSA Councelling for getting admitted to various NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. However, the top 2.5 lakh students will be able to register for JEE Advanced for getting admitted to IITs.

Earlier, the registration for JEE Advanced were expected to begin from 11th September. But it was postponed to 13th September due to the delay in release of JEE Main results. The registrations has now begun on from 15th September and the link to register has been activated on the official website of jeeadv.nic.in. Any candidates who has scored marks more than or at par of the above mentioned cut-offs marks, is eligible to apply for the exam. They will have to register themselves on the official webiste of JEE Advanced 2021 by paying a one time non-refundable fees for INR 2800. Registration fees for female candidates or SC/ST/PwD candidates is INR 1400. Previous year’s students who are eligible and wish to apply for the exam will also have to do a fresh registration for JEE Advanced 2021. JEE Advanced 2021 will be held on 3rd October, 2021. The exam will be conducted in two shifts or phases consisting 2 papers in total. The duration of each paper will be of 3 hours. It will be an online or computer based exam.
