The first session of JEE Mains being right around the corner, students need a strict schedule to get the most out of every minute of the day. Many students panic during the last couple of months of the exam, or some get super excited and get caught in burnout. Students should avoid both situations to ensure success in JEE.

Here comes the importance of proper planning, organizing and execution. We mean that students should plan out their day to get sufficient sleep, sufficient time to freshen up the mind, revise their lessons, and practice questions. To do all that, you need to be organized. If you haven’t been organized before, it’s now the best time to do so. Organize your day to ensure that all the goals you set are done. To help the students get organized in this article, I have prepared a timetable that students can refer to. You can further optimize it as per your own needs and circumstances to plan your day out.

After getting and optimizing the schedule, comes the part of the execution. You will obviously have issues following the plan during the first 3-4 days, but don’t stop or get disheartened. Remember your goal, and stay motivated.

From now onwards, if you do daily practice a sufficient number of questions, give full-length mock tests daily and revise the lessons, you will be in the best shape to score high in the JEE Main exam. There are also some more tips which you can follow-

  • Select the best place to study. Ideally, it should be a distraction-free place, well-lit and clean.
  • Write down the topics, quizzes and tests you want to cover during the week and complete your daily or weekly targets.
  • Take small challenges, like scoring at least 70% in the full-length mocks, and then gradually raise the bar. Remember, consistent performance is required to clear this exam.
  • If you cannot follow your schedule, figure out the barriers and remove them.
  • Make the schedule flexible enough to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
  • Early morning yoga and meditation is also good to boost cognitive abilities.
  • Avoid SOCIAL MEDIA, no or bare minimum Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, etc. They are the biggest time killers.
  • Do spend time in leisure activities like- playing, listening music, speaking with friends and family, etc.
  • Avoid procrastination, do the things when they are scheduled to be done.

Hope it serves your purpose and helps you to rank high in JEE exam.
