There are several other options if you have given NEET. According to the merit list and the ranks that you have scored you can estimate the options that will be available for you. Candidates must have cleared their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English as their main subject which are considered to be the Compulsory subjects. First and the utmost priority given to MBBS. As there are lakhs of people aspiring for MBBS seats but there are only 50-60 thousand seats.

So, only the top rankers will get these seats.

There are several other courses in which you can get in by through NEET like:

BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses were carried out on the basis of merit lists prepared by various states and Universities after they had conducted their own entrance examinations.

Other courses other than MBBS are:

1. BDS:

Bachelor of Dental Surgery, it is also a 5 years undergraduate course where you can become a dentist. It is a course for the students aspiring to work as dentists at government or private hospitals. Bachelor of dental surgery is one of the most popular medical courses after MBBS in India.

2.BAMS:

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery course, it is also an undergraduate degree program designed in such a way that it makes students familiar with the integrated concept of Modern Medical Science and Traditional Medicines. Ayurveda has been a tradition and is considered as the most ancient knowledge of medical science. The duration of BAMS is 5.5 years including Internships.

3. BHMS:

Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery is also an academic bachelor level degree course covering knowledge regarding the homeopathic medical system. The duration of BHMS generally varies from 4 to 5 years, and also facilitates one year of internship.

4. BUMS:

Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery is also one of the courses that comes under NEET.

This course is also of 5 years and is based on Greek knowledge and the unani system of medicine that believes in the natural healing process.

5. B.P.T

That is Bachelor of Physiotherapy

Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a 4 year undergraduate program which deals with the science of physical movement. BPT also consists of 6 months of internship.

These are some courses that you can choose and come into the medical field.

Medical lines do not consist of only doctors, there are also many other staff.

You can come in this line by choosing any of the above courses.

The courses are given according to the priority given by most of the students.
